Custom footbed technology company FootBalance last month teamed up with Sports Authority to raise more than $2,000 in aid of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. During the two-day “Treat Your Feet Wellness Event” on Oct. 15-16, Sports Authority team members each donated $10 to the fund, and in exchance got fitted with 100 percent custom heat molded footbeds from FootBalance.
“Having lost a loved one less than a month ago to breast cancer, this is a cause that is near and dear to my heart. The amount of support from this event is incredible and inspiring,” says FootBalance Managing Director Jeremy Town. Robert Gordon, SVP human resources of Sports Authority, agrees, adding, “Our team members enjoyed the experience and it was a remarkable way to partner with two organizations that share our passion for sports and giving back.”
