Durango offers one hopeful star a big break this fall.

Singers and songwriters have until September 1 to be in with a chance of winning Durango’s Sole Performer contest and a once-in-a-lifetime appearance contract with the boot brand. One Grand Prize winner will receive the exclusive opportunity to appear in Durango’s marketing materials, participate in a Carnival Music co-writing session with an on-staff writer and receive individual feedback from music industry professionals. In addition the winner will receive three pairs of Durango boots, a Taylor 618e Grand Orchestra Guitar, Sennheiser MK4 Microphone and Momentum Headphones, a Wrangler wardrobe and a $10,000 cash prize. Also included is a round trip to Nashville, TN, for the co-writing and feedback session. Judges include Dan Anderson, a manager at Red Light Management, recording artist Sarah Darling and Don Kennedy, vice president of music licensing for Sony Pictures Entertainment.
