Footwear designers take inspiration from their furry friends for Fall '13 with embroidered and bedazzled animals taking center stage on a smorgasbord of flats. Donnie Darko-style bunnies emblazon stud-encrusted ballerinas at Ivy Kirzhner, while Nine West's Boutique 9 label adds some animal instinct to its velvet smoking slippers with zebras and French bulldogs. Vegan brand Beyond Skin will donate a percentage of profits from the sale of its horse slipper to charity and stylist and reality star Rachel Zoe is sure to be a fan of Nina's leopard medallion pointed toe flats.
