DC Shoes Checks into Hotel on Rivington

DC Shoes has once again teamed with the Hotel on Rivington in New York for a limited edition of the DC Life Admiral Sport to be worn exclusively by the hotel staff. This marks the fourth time DC has laced the staff with shoes from its DC Life Collection (Sector 7, Dress Sneaker, Admiral and now the Admiral Sport).
The model has been customized with a laser etch of “Hotel on Rivington” on the outsole, a design treatment that pays homage to the side-wall DCSHOECOUSA lettering on the Vista, CA-based brand’s classic Lynx skate model that launched just over a decade ago now. A special red strap, a key color theme in the hotel, completes the custom shoe.
A luxury boutique hotel, the Hotel on Rivington collaborates with international cutting-edge designers to celebrate design and create a venue from which the world can experience all of downtown Manhattan. The DC Life Admiral Sport for Hotel on Rivington compliments the staff’s Ted Baker London apparel.
The Admiral Sport is part of the Spring ’10 DC Life Collection and will be available beginning this January at select DC Life retailers.
