Converse threw a block party

The World Basketball Festival wasn't the only party going down in Washington, DC, last weekend: Converse left its mark on our nation's capital with a (completely free) one-day block party that celebrated basketball, music and culture, and kicked off the launch of its limited edition Pro Leather WBF footwear collection.

The World Basketball Festival wasn’t the only party going down in Washington, DC, last weekend: Converse left its mark on our nation’s capital with a (completely free) one-day block party that celebrated basketball, music and culture, and kicked off the launch of its limited edition Pro Leather WBF footwear collection. Alongside live performances from Tanya Morgan, Fresh Daily, Stalley and The Dream, partygoers were invited to participate in pickup basketball games and T-shirt customization and enjoy food from local vendors. With six styles in grey, red and pink suede and black premium perforated leather with pops of blue, orange and pink, each shoe in the WBF collection features a city abbreviation next to the classic Converse Star Chevron logo, highlighting the cities around the world that will participate in this year’s events.
