Clarks marketing and design teams from the U.S.A. and the U.K. came together on Friday, March 15, with kicks purveyor Concepts and Tarek Hassan’s team in Cambridge, MA, for an exclusive preview of Clarks Sportswear.
The limited edition collection fuses the company’s shoemaking heritage with modern sport technologies and unexpected fashion designs and materials to bow fresh takes on iconic styles such as the Desert Boot and the Wallabee.
The VIP-only crowd enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and cocktails while DJs spun old school hip hop and alternative beats. The collection, which went on sale Saturday, March 16, came close to selling out on its first day. Prices range from $110 to $140 and Clarks will continue the category with plans for an expanded collection and wider distribution for Fall/Winter 2013.
