Spanish brand Animas Code docks on U.S. shores for Spring/Summer 2014. A combination of design, quality materials and craftsmanship is used on a range of footwear for men, women and children featuring everything from French box calf leather to natural jute soles.
Founded in 2011 in La Mancha, Spain, Animas Code is dedicated to preserving the tradition of artisan shoemaking. Each slipper, espadrille and sandal is crafted by hand in the brand’s Animas and Elda factories, and for Fall ’13, the 2-year-old brand will debut its Bespoke Online 3-D tool so customers can customize their shoes with a motif or a colored lining.
