To celebrate its 70th birthday, Nina shoes has released an Archive Collection of styles from its original 1953 offerings. An absolute standout is the Village Clog, a patchwork denim mule with a printed platform bottom. The design is inspired by the “hip Latin beat and cool patchworks created in our workshop in Greenwich Village in the 1950s.”
Plus, the denim-on-denim in this limited-edition mixed material slide is impeccably on trend today. And it’s all in the details with faceted antique nail heads and contrast stitching. Each sculptured one-piece bottom was hand-dipped with a unique water process to re-create the original music note and paint splatter design.
