Dearfoams, a division of RG Barry Brands, has promoted Angie Kenney to Chief Merchandising Officer. This announcement comes on the heels of Dearfoams recently hiring Jocelyn Thornton as president, whose addition to the team solidifies the organization’s progression as a lifestyle brand, evolving from its roots as the world’s first foam-soled washable slipper.
During Kenney’s tenure as vice president of Design and Merchandising at Dearfoams, the development of successful product collections and seasonal stories has propelled the brand into its next generation of merchandising, helping build the foundation for future growth. In her new, expanded role, Kenney will broaden her scope by collaborating with Dearfoams’ leadership team to help lead the execution of the brand’s long-term growth plan. In addition to defining the direction for product merchandising and design, she will partner with the marketing team to build the go-to-market strategy for the brand and will also work closely with the DTC and wholesale teams to analyze digital consumer analytics and orchestrate novel digital engagement campaigns.
“Angie’s vast knowledge of all functions within the Dearfoams brand, make her uniquely qualified for this critical position,” states Thornton.
