RG Barry Corporation has appointed Tricia Bouras president of its flagship Dearfoams brand. (The company’s portfolio includes the Baggallini and Foot Petals brands.) Bouras succeeds Dearfoams’ current president Lee Smith, who will be leading new development and innovation for the company. Bouras and Lee will report directly to Bob Mullaney, president and CEO.
Bouras is a result-driven leader in the consumer goods industry that includes executive positions in strategic business planning, brand development and marketing, and financial management. Bouras joins RG Barry after 16 years with HanesBrands where she was most recently vice president and general manager of the shapewear and hosiery categories as well as DKNY intimates and legwear. Bouras led HanesBrands’ successful acquisition and integration of the Maidenform bra business, resulting in the largest contemporary bra portfolio in North America. Earlier in her career, Bouras served in various marketing and visual merchandising roles with companies that included VF Corporation.
“We’re excited to appoint an exceptional leader like Tricia as president of Dearfoams, a legacy lifestyle brand with a passionate consumer following,” Mullaney states. “The opportunity to leverage Tricia’s deep experience with HanesBrands, the world’s largest basic apparel company, gives us the ability to further unleash the power of our brand portfolio and our multiple engines of growth. Dearfoams has a strong legacy and an even more exciting future. Tricia’s insights into both the consumer and marketplace will prove invaluable as we accelerate our momentum, reinvigorating global brand growth with product leadership, enhanced ecommerce capabilities, and unparalleled consumer connections.”
“I look forward to working with Bob, the RG Barry leadership team and the Dearfoams team to further position us for long-term success−growing brand energy, driving product innovation and delivering a win with the consumer today and well into the future,” Bouras says.
