Today marks the kick-off of Two Ten Footwear Foundation‘s Footwear Cares charity initiative. Over the next three days, 17 footwear companies will come together to package meals for the food insecure, provide clothes to children, walk in support of cancer research and perform environmental clean-up efforts. In the weeks to come, 109 footwear companies will engage in community service activities across the country.

Reports rolling in so far today reveal 800 Finish Line retail store managers participated with nonprofit Elevate to package 300,000 meals for the food insecure. Clarks partnered with Cradles to Crayons to sort enough clothing for 508 children. More numbers will roll in soon.
