Ferragamo now lets you customize a classic.

Storied Italian fashion house Salvatore Ferragamo is marking the 35th year of its iconic Vara flat by allowing fans of the bow-topped, mid-heeled shoe to customize their own. Here's how the DIY process works: select a base color, add a bow color and then choose between gold or silver hardware. You can even get your initials carved on a metal plate fitted to the sole.
