Saucony ‘#BostonStrongLace Medallion’ to Benefit Boston Marathon Victims and Families

In an effort for runners nationwide to show their support to the Boston Marathon terror attack victims and their families, Saucony, a division of Wolverine Worldwide, has created a special shoelace medallion and will donate 100 percent of the proceeds to The One Fund Boston, a charity created by Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick and Boston Mayor Tom Merino to assit people most affected by the bombings.

In an effort for runners nationwide to show their support to the Boston Marathon terror attack victims and their families, Saucony, a division of Wolverine Worldwide, has created a special shoelace medallion and will donate 100 percent of the proceeds to The One Fund Boston, a charity created by Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick and Boston Mayor Tom Merino to assit people most affected by the bombings.

One side of the medallion reads the viral hashtag and unity motto, #BostonStrong, and a custom laced-up heart is on the other side. Consumers can obtain the medallion for $5 a pair, which can be pre-ordered at saucony.com beginning Wednesday, April 24th. Medallions will be available to ship within three to four weeks.

Consumers are also encouraged to go to onefundboston.org to make a direct donation. To date, more than $20 million has been raised.
