On Monday classic kicks brand Converse presented its Fall ’13 collections at the Gallery at the Dream Downtown. Chuck Taylor All Star takes a rock ‘n’ roll approach with reconstructed hardware, bold animal prints and new silhouettes for men and women (SRP $60-$110) while the kids collection (SRP $37-$100) features bright colors and fun patterns. On the Cons side, the KA-II, Converse Skateboarding Ambassador Kenny Anderson’s second signature sneaker (SRP $75) with the brand, launches for fall, with a molded Nike Lunarlon sockliner for lightweight cushioning, memory foam and Converse Flex Cupsole Technology. The Nike-owned subsidiary continues its collaborations with Jack Purcell, John Varvatos and Marimekko and introduces a partnership with Australian lifestyle brand Deus ex Machina (SRP $95-$100) as well as First String Cashmere (SRP $200) and Boro (SRP $100-$150) styles using premium materials.
