Iconic Fisher-Price Joins United Legwear Stable

Infant and preschool giant Fisher-Price and United Legwear Company have partnered to make and distribute multi-product lines for infants and toddlers. The Fisher-Price partnership joins United Legwear’s growing herd of brands that includes Puma, Zutano, Trumpette Too!, Skechers, Luvs and Bon Bebe.

The colorful and playful Luv U Zoo collection spans booties to tights.

Adorned with animals from the Fisher-Price Luv U Zoo collection, the girls’ and boys’ assortments include core basics and fashion styles for anklets, crew socks, bobby socks, tights, booties and slipper socks with no-slip gripper bottoms. Characters include pink giraffes, purple hippos, monkeys, lions and pandas, while certain sets of hosiery have the days of the week printed on them.

The new collection will be available Spring ’12 and is expected to retail between $4 for a 2-pack of booties to $6 for a 6-pack of crew socks. —Meagan Walker
