KangaRoos, a licensee of One7 in Woburn, MA, was the official shoe of last weekend’s first-ever Northside Festival in Brooklyn, NY. The four-day celebration of New York City’s independent music and art scene took place at more than 50 music venues and galleries throughout the Williamsburg and Greenpoint neighborhoods of Brooklyn.
KangaRoos outfitted all festival volunteers as well as local bar employees with t-shirts and gave bands footwear to wear on stage and held product giveaways for attendees. In addition, the company sold apparel during the festival with proceeds going to the Open Space Alliance, a non-profit that aids in the preservation and restoration of parks in the Greenpoint/Williamsburg communities.
“The Northside Festival offers four days of great music and art—and offers Roos the opportunity to be with the folks who love both,” says Mary Taylor, chief marketing officer for One7.
