Flip Flops Are Just Untucked Shoes: UNTUCKit x Hari Mari

Two elevated comfort brands combine for a limited-edition style.

Relaxed luxury apparel brand UNTUCKit is joining forces with Hari Mari for an elevated sandal collection. Available online and at select UNTUCKit retail locations March 4, UNTUCKit x Hari Mari flip flops will retail for $90. The style features UNTUCKit’s iconic colors and logo on the footbed for a bright, polished look as well as Hari Mari’s signature MemoryFoamToe, which boasts instant comfort and no break-in period.

The collaboration comes as flip flops are having a major resurgence. But unlike the colorful rubber styles of the early aughts, contemporary tastes favor a more elevated aesthetic. Enter UNTUCKit x Hari Mari. The flip flops feature premium materials including soft, water-resistant nubuck leather straps lined with memory foam and a pebbled nubuck leather footbed. The style also offers firm arch support with a cup heel and a durable, crepe-textured non-slip rubber outsole that is boat safe. Decorative stitching and colorful midsoles add a playful finishing touch.

“When some people think of flip flops, they think super casual — pool days, beach vacations, or quick errands around town,” offers Hari Mari Founder and CEO Jeremy Stewart. “Our Hari Mari x UNTUCKit collab packs a preppy punch and elevates this trend with rich, buttery-soft leather and a clean silhouette perfect for date nights, happy hours, dinner at the resort, and more.”

Each pair of flip-flops comes in custom packaging with this haiku:

A comfortable truth:
Flip-flops are just untucked shoes.
Try them on and see.

The brand synergy is definitely strong. “UNTUCKit elevated men’s button-downs are just like Hari Mari elevated men’s flip-flops — this collab brings together the best of both brands,” confirms UNTUCKit founder Chris Riccobono. “With UNTUCKit’s signature colors and branding paired with Hari Mari’s premium leather, it’s a step above the competition and the perfect way to elevate the flip-flop trend.”
