Adding to the Project Runway hysteria—season six begins tonight, along with an all-star challenge and new model series—Payless ShoeSource debuts an exclusive collection designed by fourth-season winner Christian Siriano. Contrary to his knack for voluminous, pleated and exaggerated fashion (Anyone else remember his avant-garde dress’ insane asymmetrical fan collar?), the line of low-cost fall dress shoes are decidedly tame and versatile.
We’re not sure what to make of this look from French designer Eric Tibusch, but hey—if this becomes a hot accessory trend, perhaps the industry will see an uptick in sales.
Fast-fashion monster H&M has announced its latest designer collaborator, and its first in the accessories realm: Jimmy Choo. Expect women to line up for days for the British brand’s covetable shoes at moderate price points, which will sell through about 200 select locations worldwide beginning Nov. 14. But that’s not all; Jimmy Choo designers will also extend their vision to complementary women’s apparel and handbags. And you might find men lining up as well—in addition to women’s product, the collaboration will also cover men’s shoes and accessories.
