Flojos, the Southern California sandal brand known for laid-back comfort and coastal style, has appointed Christian Lass as its new Director of Sales. This hire comes as the company accelerates its expansion across key national retail channels and builds a sales team to support long-term growth.
Bringing over 25 years of experience in footwear, apparel, hardgoods, and consumer product sales in the action sports arena, Lass will lead Flojos’ wholesale strategy, deepen relationships with retail partners, and scale the brand’s presence across specialty, department store, and ecommerce accounts. He has previously served as director of sales for Arbor Collective, Dragon, 509, and FMF (La Jolla Group). The role at Flojos will also oversee the expansion of both internal and external sales forces.
“Flojos has experienced incredible momentum over the past few seasons, and this is the perfect time to strengthen our sales foundation,” states CEO John Dickinson. “With Christian’s leadership and experience, we’re confident in our ability to take the brand to the next level, we foresee meaningful momentum for the Flojos brand, not just this season, but for the long run. This is just the beginning.”
Lass has hit the ground running, bringing in a skilled team of veteran reps within his first month. Hires include Adam Scott (Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, and Idaho); Barcus Evans (Oregon, Washington, Montana, and Alaska); Sean Gallivan (Northeast); and Paul Reinecke (Florida). The brand is actively seeking representation in the Midwest and Hawaii to complete its nationwide coverage.
