Good grief! Vans has teamed up with iconic comic strip Peanuts on a capsule collection of kicks for fall. Vault by Vans x Peanuts takes it back over three decades to reissue two vintage prints created to commemorate the opening of Camp Snoopy in Knott’s Berry Farm in 1983 and used on Vans footwear sold exclusively at the Southern California amusement park. Fall ’14 revives the long-gone prints on a selection of Vault by Vans Original Classics in a range of adult and toddler sized sneakers.
Snoopy livens up the OG Classics assortment with his likeness all over each pair. In the “Snoopy and the Gang” print, the iconic beagle is joined by the likes of Lucy, Sally, Peppermint Patty and Charlie Brown for two nostalgic colorways of the OG Authentic LX, and a solo take on the OG Sk8-Hi LX. The limited edition capsule is sized down for todders, too, into four varieties of the OG Authentic LX. The collection hits key Vault by Vans retailers this July, including the Vans DQM General New York and Boston, with priced at $40 for toddlers and from $60 to $70 for adults. vans.com/vault
