Forget “The Bachelor.” If you’re after a match made in heaven look no further than Georgia Boot, creator of the original logger boot, and Stihl Timbersports, which showcases the world’s best lumberjacks. The two have teamed up in a multi-year sponsorship agreement that gives Georgia Boot a presence at every Stihl Timbersports professional and collegiate event and on the series’ website and social media outlets, along with commercial spots and an in-show feature during televised contests. “We have a tremendous heritage with logger boots and aligning with Stihl is a perfect fit for both brands,” says Jordan Gottke, brand manager for Georgia Boot. The 2014 schedule kicks off in March, while the U.S. collegiate and professional championship is scheduled for June 20-22.
