Manhattan originals Pony and Rothco launch capsule collection.

New York City trailblazers, media and sneakerheads gathered on Tuesday at Reed Space on the Lower East Side for the launch of a capsule collection by Pony and Rothco. The night kicked off with a panel discussion by Reed Space and Staple Design founder Jeff Staple, Pony Founder Roberto Muller and Darin Kaye of Rothco about what it means to be a real New Yorker and the originality and authenticity of both brands. Afterwards, guests danced to beats by DJ Vashtie, sipped on beers from Brooklyn Brewery  and snacked on food served by Crif Dogs, while getting a sneak peek at the collection, which will be available exclusively at Reed Space and  includes a military-inspired jacket, backpack and sneaker boots.
